If you are a "boomer" this book will trigger memories of growing up during the 1960's-1970's. No matter where you are from in America, these tales of family, friends and pets in rural America as viewed by the author Jan Hipple are so vivid, you can practically taste the experiences. You may even perhaps feel the wrath of teachers and parents when you recall doing "not so nice" things, that are told by this West Virginia native. If you are a "millennial" and don't understand the term "turning pages" in a book you touch, then access the book via kindle and enjoy it on your I-device. Then ask your dad or mom if the stories are real i.e. no technology and kids still had fun. A reading for all generations. The only bad thing about this book is it ended too quickly, I do hope Mr. Hipple considers a volume II edition at some point in his career.
